Accessibility statement

Pic’enu is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This is an ongoing commitment, not a one-off checkbox — as we add features, we aim to keep meeting that standard.

What we do

• Alt text on dish, restaurant, and menu photos.
• Keyboard-navigable forms and interactive elements, with a visible focus state.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA on our terracotta and cream palette.
• Rating breakdowns always show the numeric score alongside colour — never colour alone to convey a value.
• Motion and entrance animations respect your reduced-motion setting.

Reporting an issue

If you come across anything on Pic’enu that’s difficult to use with a screen reader, keyboard, or other assistive technology, let us know — we want to fix it.
